Adriatic Investment Management LLC, a U.S. based investment management company, sold a majority stake in Proficio d.d. ('Proficio'), a Croatian investment management company, engaged in building a portfolio of mid-sized tourism development projects and venture capital investments, to Rudan d.o.o. ('Rudan'), a local energy services and tourism company. The transaction includes a part of Proficio’s tourism portfolio - the camping resort Pine Beach Pakoštane in Zadar County and the Heritage Hotel Angelo d'Oro in Rovinj, Istria. The acquisition is a part of Rudan's strategy to further expand its geographic presence and strengthen its hotel and tourism portfolio in the Croatian market.

Rudan is a privately owned energy service company (ESCO), and tourism company based in Žminj, Croatia. The company invests its own financial resources and intellectual capital into projects, utilizing advanced technologies to increase the energy efficiency of its clients. The tourism operations comprise of a number of hotels, campsites, spas and villas across the Croatian continental and Adriatic tourist locations.
