Illimity and other invetsors supported Zerbinati, an Italian leader in chilled salads, vegetables, and ready meals, with a €12.5 million financing deal. The transaction involved restructuring Zerbinati’s financial position and a minority stake acquisition by the investors to boost production capacity and expand product offerings. Vitale (IMAP Italy) acted as financial advisor to the Zerbinati family, guiding them through the process.

Founded in 1970, Zerbinati is a market leader in chilled IV-range salads and vegetables, both conventional and organic, as well as in ready-to-eat meals (soups, veloutés, side dishes and vegetable burgers). The company boasts two production plants, located in Casale Monferrato and Borgo San Martino (AL), and over 100 product references.
