Euricom buys Flora rice brand from Colussi Group

Colussi Group has sold the brand Flora to Curti, company controlled by Euricom.

 

The brand Flora, present in the market since 1960 and owned by the Colussi Group, is the leader in the parboiled rice segment.

 

Curti, founded in 1875 and controlled by the Italian multinational Euricom, is active in the rice segment with the proprietary brand Curtiriso.


 
The acquisition will enable Curti to strengthen its positioning in the branded rice segment and to increase its presence in the Italian retail and food-service markets.

 

Vitale (IMAP Italy) acted as sell advisor assisting the shareholders of the Colussi Group.
