Clessidra Capital Credit SGR S.p.A., acting on behalf of its managed funds, has acquired a majority stake in D.I.MAR S.r.l., an Italian specialist in the retail and wholesale distribution of frozen seafood products, as part of a restructuring process under Article 56 of the Italian Business Crisis and Insolvency Code (CCII). The transaction provides new financial resources to refinance existing debt and strengthen the company's capital structure.

Founded in the Marche region in the early 1990s, D.I.MAR operates primarily through its Sapore di Mare brand, which has built strong consumer recognition across Italy for the quality, innovation, and breadth of its frozen seafood offering. The company operates a network of approximately 90 retail stores nationwide and a significant production facility in the Marche region, generating revenues of approximately €75 million in 2025.

Clessidra Capital Credit will provide both financial resources and managerial and industrial expertise to support D.I.MAR's turnaround and relaunch, with a focus on sustainable long-term value creation and further development of the Sapore di Mare brand.
