IMAP has advised the shareholders of the BRANDT*POLARUS Group, a pioneer and innovation leader in the field of refrigerated vehicles with multi-compartment bodies in Germany and Switzerland, on the acquisition of a majority stake by a Single Family Office. The current management team has reinvested significantly.

Headquartered in Barntrup, Germany, BRANDT*POLARUS develops and manufactures high-quality bodies and multi-compartment solutions for refrigerated transport. In recent years, the Group has grown significantly – from approximately 30 employees in 2018 to more than 100 employees today – driven by the trust of its long-standing customers and the successful expansion into new markets. Production has been consistently professionalised with a clear focus on efficient, modular processes. In 2024, the Group acquired STS Kühlfahrzeuge, thus strategically expanding both its business activities and regional footprint in Southern Germany. Since 2025, the Group is also present in Switzerland with its own sales and service location.
