Deal 1: Twenty four years ago, IMAP Czechia advised Promens a.s., Zlin (PROMENS ZLIN), established in 1991, see: www.promenszlin.cz in the transaction where financial investor entered the company to support its growth. The company, formerly known as RIM-Tech, is a Czech based TIER 1 system and development supplier of large exterior and interior parts for trucks, buses, agri & construction machines produced by reactive injection moulding and vacuum forming technology.
Deal 2: Fifteen years ago, IMAP Czechia advised shareholders of the company again to sell the entire 100% share to the strategic buyer POLIMOON GROUP B.V. From that moment PROMENS ZLIN was a part of consolidation play that has been ended under umbrella of BERRY GLOBAL Group, Inc. - global leader in plastics packaging.
Deal 3: Last year BERRY GLOBAL decided to divest selected non-core activities. IMAP Czechia represented MBO team established by Robert Zatloukal, the former co-owner and a long-term CEO of PROMENS ZLIN, to acquire the company back. During one and half decade under ownership of global corporations the company developed into the position of respected partner in the niche market segment and received numerous awards for its corporate excellence and good manufacturing practice. In the acquisition of entire shareholding of PROMENS ZLIN the MBO team partnered with ARX EQUITY PARTNERS. The transaction has been signed in April 2021.
