Before joining IMAP Albia Capital, Ramón was the CFO of Iberdrola Engineering & Construction (with energy infrastructure projects all over the world), CFO of Scottish Power (utility with €7bn annual revenue in power & gas generation, distribution and supply), CFO of Iberdrola Gas (€2bn revenue), Strategy & Risk Director of the International Business Unit of Iberdrola (€30bn revenue), Controller of the International Business Unit of Endesa (€30bn revenue and the largest public utility in Latin America at the time) and a Finance analyst in Repsol (oil & gas; €40bn revenue).
He has taken part in several cross-border acquisitions, has developed infrastructure investment plans over €10bn and has designed and implemented post-merger integrations and reorganizations, as well as synergy generation programs. Academically, he has collaborated with Global Alumni and UCLA in Risk and Project Management courses.
Ramón has a deep understanding of the energy and engineering industries and a broad international experience acquired in the United Kingdom, Spain, USA, Latin America and the North of Africa.
Ramón holds a Business and Law degree from Pontificia Comillas ICAI-ICADE in Madrid.
