Eduardo J. Rodríguez is Partner of Mario Hugo Azulay & Asociados S.A. (IMAP Argentina). In over 40 years he has developed an extensive career as an Economic Analyst and Line Manager across a wide variety of sectors, including Industrial, Commercial, Construction, Banks and Service.
He has led strategic and operational activities at important companies across different sectors. He advises on improving processes, quality assurance and international standards certification.
He began his professional career in 1970 at F.I.E.L. (Latin American Foundation for Economic Studies). He then became Head of the Statistics Department at CIDIE (International Center of Economic Information) and held subsequent high-level positions at firms including Massey Ferguson Argentina S.A., Techint Group and Banco Francés del Río de la Plata.
In 1981 he became a Partner at Mario Hugo Azulay & Asociados.Previously he was the Vice President at Cucina Bella S.A., the market leader of kitchen furniture, Buxton S.A., the leading Argentinian piston manufacturer owned by Mahle A.G. (Germany), the Associated Engineering Group (England) and its local partners in Argentina. In addition, in Uruguay, he was Vice President at Metalúrgica y Pistones S.A. and Partner of MIC S.R.L., a recruitment and workforce search consultant.
Mr. Rodríguez has participated in several projects with IDB financy, supporting Small and Medium companies in Argentina and Bolivia. He has closed many local and cross-border M&A transactions. He also serves on the Board of several companies.
Mr. Rodríguez holds a Degree of Business Management from UCSE. He studied at UBA and the Universidad de Belgrano and has undertaken numerous courses in Argentina and other countries. He has also participated in several publications related to budget management for companies, economics and statistics.
