Chris is a Director in Capstone Headwaters’ Energy & Infrastructure Group. He brings 15+ years of experience in project finance, construction finance, equity raising and asset management experience in the development and acquisition of energy infrastructure assets.
Prior to joining Headwaters MB (now Capstone Headwaters), Chris was the Director of Asset Management for J-POWER USA Development Co., Ltd. (“J-POWER”). J-POWER is the U.S. subsidiary of Electric Power Development Co., Ltd. (9513:JP), which is the largest electric wholesale utility in Japan with assets of over $23 billion and revenues in excess of $6.5 billion.
Chris helped establish the U.S. independent power business in 2005 after working at Black Hills Energy in Golden, CO. He served in many functions related to M&A and capital raising efforts, green field development initiatives and asset management functions, helping to grow the portfolio to 10 projects with over 3,500 megawatts of generation under management.
Chris holds a BSc from the University of Colorado at Boulder, Leeds School of Business and an MBA from Loyola University Chicago’s Quinlan School of Business.
