Deal Announcement - Transport - Transportes Vigia
IMAP Colombia advised Transportes Vigía on its partnership with leading Spanish company, BERGÉ, in the development of an integrated logistics platform for the Automotive industry. Following the agreement, a new entity, Bergé Vigía, was created, which will provide comprehensive logistics services in Colombia, one of the fastest growing markets in Latin America.
Bergé Vigía will build on Transportes Vigía’s unique strength in the Automotive sector, offering logistics services to vehicle manufacturers, importers and dealers throughout Colombia, including storage, transportation, delivery and new associated services. It combines Bergé’s existing warehousing facilities with Vigía’s trucking fleet. The new entity will have over 120,000m² of car storage facilities and a fleet of 200+ trucks, with the capacity to transport over 140,000 cars per year. It also has 2,500+m² of vehicle workshops and over 200 employees.
