IMAP Italy (Vitale & Co.) advised EOS on sale of its majority stake in Poplast to Green Arrow Capital.

The private equity fund EOS has sold its majority stake in Poplast to Green Arrow Capital.

Poplast, founded in 1975 near Piacenza, has become, over the years, a leading Italian company specialized in the production of flexible packaging solutions mainly for the food industry. The acquisition aims to support the expansion strategy in the market as well as the sector consolidation plan through the acquisition of other important players in the industry.

IMAP Italy (Vitale&Co.) acted as financial advisor to EOS and other private shareholders, including the management, in the definition of the structure and the terms of the transaction, managing the due diligence activities and negotiating the agreement with the counterpart.

Pierangelo Fantoni and Carlo Callegari who, jointly with other managers, reinvested in the new transaction, will maintain their managing role at the Company, supporting its future development plans.
