Based in Karlskoga, PBH Teknik is a specialised provider of advanced CNC milling, focusing on the manufacture of components with strict requirements for tolerances, quality and delivery reliability. The company operates a modern and well-maintained machine park comprising 3-, 4- and 5-axis multi-operation machines and also offers in-house measurement and assembly services. Its extensive technical expertise and strong focus on quality have made PBH Teknik a valued partner to customers within the Swedish defence industry.
PBH Teknik was founded in 1998 by Björn Waara and generated revenues of approximately SEK 35 million in 2024/25, with exceptional profitability.
The new owner is the listed defence group Astor Group, through its subsidiary Mikroponent. The acquisition broadens the offering within the Astor Industry business area and establishes a stronger presence in Karlskoga – one of Sweden’s most important clusters for the defence industry. With Astor Group as its new owner, PBH Teknik is well positioned to continue developing its operations and meet growing customer demand. Björn Waara will continue in his role as CEO going forward.
