Autobooks, a Detroit-based provider of invoicing, digital payment acceptance, and accounting solutions for small businesses integrated directly into online and mobile banking, has acquired Allied Payment Network, a Fort Wayne, Indiana-based provider of business and consumer bill pay solutions for financial institutions. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Founded in 2010, Allied Payment Network serves over 500 financial institutions and 150,000 customers, processing more than $5 billion in payments annually. The company offers a comprehensive suite of bill pay solutions including mobile invoice capture, person-to-person payments, account-to-account transfers, electronic bill management, and small business payroll and direct payment tools, primarily serving banks and credit unions across the United States.
The acquisition combines Allied's established bill pay infrastructure with Autobooks' receivables, accounting, and cash flow management platform, creating a more complete end-to-end financial solution for small businesses delivered through their existing banking relationships. The transaction positions Autobooks to offer what it describes as the first true all-in-one platform for small businesses integrating receivables, payables, accounting, and cash flow management directly into digital banking.
Capstone Partners – IMAP USA acted as exclusive financial advisor to Allied Payment Network on the transaction.
