Foreman Capital, an independent private equity firm with offices in Amsterdam and Copenhagen, has acquired a stake in Royal NNZ Group, an international supplier of packaging solutions for the agri, food, and industrial sectors. The Boot family, which has owned the business for over 100 years across four generations, will retain involvement in the company. The transaction marks the first external shareholder in Royal NNZ Group's history.
Founded in 1922 in Groningen by Marinus Boot, Royal NNZ Group has grown from a family-owned Dutch business into an internationally operating company with activities across Europe and beyond. The company provides innovative, sustainable, and high-quality packaging solutions to customers in the agri, food, and industrial sectors, built on a long-standing reputation for reliability, entrepreneurship, and commitment to employees and customers.
Foreman Capital's investment will support Royal NNZ Group's continued growth, with planned investments in inventory, logistics, digitalisation, artificial intelligence, commercial development, and international expansion.
IMAP Netherlands advised Foreman Capital on the transaction. The deal team consisted of Jean-Luc Zeguers, Maria van der Veer, Willem Jansen, and Livio Holl.
