IMAP is pleased to announce that IMAP Netherlands has advised Medcon International (“Medcon”), an international continuing medical education provider focusing on cardiovascular diseases (CVD), on its sale to USHealthConnect (“USH”).

Medcon is the leading provider of cardiovascular clinical education in Europe. Since its founding in 2000, it has been recognized for its scientific acumen and in-depth reach into CVD healthcare professionals. It is the first organization to receive accreditation from the European Board for Accreditation in Cardiology (EBAC) and serves its users through four well-established brands.

Medcon will operate as an independent global subsidiary located just outside Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

USH is a global organization whose subsidiaries are dedicated to improving the lives of patients and healthcare professionals through evidence-based education for clinicians. USH companies develop, produce, distribute, and measure the impact of education designed to improve the practice of medicine. USH is a portfolio company of Morgan Stanley Capital Partners.
