Pascal Riviere is a Partner at Societex Corporate Finance (IMAP France) where he works predominantly in the Technology, Media and Communication sectors. Prior to joining the firm in 2006, he spent 20 years in the IT and Media and Communications industries holding senior management positions in multinational companies such as Digital Equipment Corp, Hewlett-Packard, Ziff-Davis Publishing, Softbank, United Internet and Adlink Internet Media. He was an early participant in the development of online media in the ’90s, launching ZDNet, Yahoo and Interop in France.

Bernard Maussion is Chairman at Societex Corporate Finance (IMAP France). Prior to joining the firm in 2006, Mr. Maussion managed his own companies, in the field of equipment and services for the boating industry, for an international market. Before that, he had joined the Suez Group where, as vice-president of finance for Agena, he negotiated and managed the integration of 40 medium-sized French and European companies. He has also worked for the Xerox Corporation in both commercial and financial positions. Joining Societex in 2006, he brought his experience in founding companies, acquisitions and managing subsidiaries of groups operating in high-tech and finance.

Sector Expertise: The recent M&A deals he completed are in sectors as varied as cosmetic industry, IT, medical services, or agro business. For the latter, he is the IMAP coordinator in France.

François Germain is a Partner and Managing Director at Societex Corporate Finance (IMAP France). Mr. Germain was formerly a partner and managing director of a corporate merger subsidiary created in 1986 under the name of Finance Partenaires. He took the majority of the company in 1992 and developed a partnership with the CEPME (today: OSEO), merging his business with the firm in 1999. He began his professional career in private equity at IDI (Industrial Development Institute), where he developed a strong background in mergers and acquisitions.
