Jurgis V. Oniunas is the Managing Director of Ascendant Capital Advisors (IMAP Croatia) and is the current Chairman of IMAP. Ascendant Capital Advisors has operations in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Slovenia. Prior to co-founding the firm in 2003, Jurgis held the position of Vice President for Europe, Africa and the Middle East for the U.S. engineering company Ebasco Services Incorporated and its parent company, ENSERCH Corporation.
Practice Areas: Jurgis has more than three decades of experience identifying and developing emerging business opportunities throughout Central and Eastern Europe with U.S. and U.K. companies. Steve founded Dresner Partners (IMAP Chicago) in 1991 to provide Wall Street investment banking services to middle market businesses. Prior to founding Dresner Partners, he held management positions with First Chicago Corporation (JP Morgan Chase), Arthur Andersen (corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions practices), Heller Financial and GE Capital Corporation.
Steve´s distinguished corporate finance career spans nearly 30 years, including mergers, acquisitions, debt and equity financing, restructuring and turnarounds, recapitalizations and international transactions. In addition to his transactional experience, Steve has led numerous valuation, fairness opinion and strategic financial consulting engagements. Steve´s sector expertise in the: Healthcare, Business Services, Building Products, Textiles, Industrial Manufacturing, Retail, and Media.
Steve holds an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and a B.S. Economics, with Honors, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Sergio is the Director of South Andes Capital (IMAP Chile). He joined the firm in 1994, specializing in the area of corporate finance participating in the group that advised Codelco on the sale of a controlling stake in Tocopilla, the largest power station in Chile. In 1996-1997 he worked at the European merchant bank, Kleinwort Benson, in London on the project and export finance, and equity capital markets teams.
Sector Expertise: Sergio has extensive experience and a strong record of successful transactions in Energy and Power. He has also participated in numerous advisory mandates and transactions, mainly in Mining, Banking, Ports, Electricity, and Water sectors, in Chile and abroad.
Sergio graduated from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile as a Civil Engineer specializing in Economics and Electricity and holds an MBA from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile’s School of Business.
Axel Fuhri Snethlage
Axel is a Partner at DB&S Corporate Finance (IMAP Netherlands). Prior to joining the firm he was an owner and founder of FSJF Corporate Finance Consultants, an independent firm specializing in M&A advisory, capital raising and business valuation. Before that Axel was with ABN AMRO Bank as Director for business and retail activities.
Axel's expertise includes over 20 years of experience in mergers & acquisitions, MBOs, capital raising and debt advisory with a mixture of family owned business and multinationals. Many of the completed transactions were cross-border.
Axel attended University of Amsterdam Law School. He has written and co-authored three books on corporate finance and several articles in financial publications.

Karl Fesenmeyer is the President and Co-founder of IMAP M&A Consultants AG (IMAP Germany) based in Mannheim. Prior to co-founding the firm in 1997, Mr. Fesenmeyer gained more than 15 years’ experience in several executive positions, including Deputy CFO at Fuerstenberg Brauerei (brewery), Director and CFO at Fuchs Systems (equipment and machinery), and Managing Shareholder at Biffar.

Dr. Maegan A Evans is a Director with IMAP's Naples, Florida, office (Falls River Group). Evans has more than 25 years of diversified work experience in private industry, government, and not-for-profit. Maegan has extensive international negotiating experience representing a U.S.-headquartered energy company. Spending most of her career in the Washington, D.C., area, Maegan has served as a consultant to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Mitre Corporation and other economic and political organizations. In addition, she worked on behalf of Arthur Laffer & Associates, the Women’s Economic Round Table, and Washington Financial Marketing Round Table. Since then she has assisted on every major transaction, contributing in the areas of client management, transactional analysis and sell-side support. In addition, Evans has helped start-up companies raise private and venture funding.

Pelino Colaiacovo is a Managing Director at IMAP, in Canada (MPA Morrison Park Advisors Inc.). Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Colaiacovo served as the Chief of Staff to the Ontario Minister of Energy from 2003 to 2005. During that time, he assisted in significant restructuring of the Ontario electricity sector, including the drafting and implementation of new legislation, the creation of the Ontario Power Authority, and significant procurements of new electricity generation capacity for the province. Before that, he spent more than 10 years in management, policy and communications consulting in Canada and the United States, advising clients across a wide range of sectors, including energy, transportation, telecommunications and healthcare.
